We continue to support Israel

On October 7, Israel suffered the worst terrorist attack in modern times. The shelling of civilians continues and a quarter of a million residents of Israel have been evacuated from the northern Galilee and the Western Negev in the south. The Word of Life wants to help show solidarity with the people of Israel by providing gifts to the following four organizations.

Magen David Adom (MDA) is Israel’s official first aid organization, responsible for emergency pre-hospital medical care, ambulance operations, the blood bank, and first aid training in Israel. MDA assists and saves lives in cases of acute illness, accidents and acts of terrorism, 24 hours a day, all year round.

The United Israel Fund/Keren Hayesod helps affected Israelis through a Terror Victims Fund that provides both practical and financial assistance to people affected by recent acts of violence in the country.

Keren Kajemet Israelfonden (KKL) is actively involved in evacuation efforts and opens its facilities in safer locations mainly to families with children. After the war, KKL is responsible for rebuilding the shattered communities along the border in an area where KKL Sweden has implemented several projects in recent years.

Beit Hallel is a Messianic community in Ashod that distributes humanitarian aid to civilians and soldiers. Food baskets worth $500 are distributed to Israeli families in need. Humanitarian aid in the form of care baskets – with warm clothes, toiletries, chargers or powerbanks, energy drinks, energy bars, first aid kits, protein powders at a cost of $1,000 – is distributed to Israeli soldiers in southern Israel.

You are welcome to contribute to these important projects.

You can swish your gift to 1660 and mark the gift with “Israel” or click here to give via our website – don’t forget to mark the gift with “Israel”.
