Powerful days at our Europe Summit

‘This was like a Disneyland for pastors.’

These words came from a pastor who attended our Europe Summit for the very first time. Around 220 leaders from across Europe gathered in the historic city of Durrës, Albania – a place where the Apostle Paul once preached in signs and wonders, as recorded in Romans 15:18-19.‘This was like a Disneyland for pastors.’

This year’s Word of Life Family Europe Summit may have been our best yet. As we have continued to meet regularly, a deep, genuine community has formed – rooted in a common hunger for the Lord. The theme “Bold, Healthy, and Strong” reminded us that engagement alone is not enough. We need to build lasting churches that are vibrant, healthy and resilient.

It was inspiring to hear pastors from different regions preach with passion about bold faith and share practical wisdom on sustainable leadership and healthy living. We also welcomed new churches and shared exciting updates on church planting in Portugal, Spain, the Balkans and Ukraine.

All the evening meetings were characterised by powerful worship and a strong presence of the Holy Spirit. Many were deeply moved – some overwhelmed by the power of God. The gifts of the Spirit flowed freely, revitalising hearts and strengthening faith.

One testimony stood out. A pastor from Kosovo, serving in a region heavily influenced by radical Islam, was deeply moved. ‘This summit gave me strength,’ he shared. ‘I now feel renewed and ready to continue the mission.’

Let us believe together that God is moving in Europe in a mighty way!

LOBC-Team: Healing and restoration in Bolivia

It was Wednesday morning when we arrived, exhausted after a dramatic 36-hour journey and running on barely two hours of sleep. A kind man from a local church picked us up and welcomed us into his home. As we sat together making small talk, he began to sing a Swedish worship song, sharing from his time as a missionary there. In that moment, the weight of the journey caught up with us, and we began to cry. Questions filled our minds: what was going to happen on this trip, could God really use us like this, and did we even have the strength to be there? He gently encouraged us to rest, and after a short nap we were picked up by the pastor and reunited with the rest of the team. After breakfast and several hours of sleep, we felt more alive—still tired, but ready. We were reminded that in our weakness, God is our strength.

It is time for Laos!

So wonderful to be back in Laos. I was here the first time 25 years ago, and ever since that visit, something in my heart has remained connected to this beautiful nation. I have always wanted to come back—and now, finally, I am here again. Walking these streets, meeting the people, and sensing God’s presence so strongly reminds me that His timing is always perfect.
