New Missions Youth Movement

God has worked in the most amazing ways throughout our forty years of ministry. Time and again He has opened doors that we hardly thought possible and through prophetic speeches and visions shown us the way forward, and time and again we have responded in faith.

The call we received from the Lord in the beginning and which we have always worked from are these words: “Equip God’s people with his word of faith. Show them what spiritual weapons they have. Teach them to use them and send them out to fight victoriously for the Lord.”

Since our inception, we have seen how God has led us to start Bible schools and train local leaders and pastors who can then run with what they have received and continue to spread the Kingdom of God in their cities and countries.

Over the years, we have sent hundreds of teams on mission and today have up to 900 churches scattered all over the world, largely because of all our mission teams and Bible school plantings.

We have also worked in difficult places and ministered in countries where it has been and sometimes still is forbidden to talk about Jesus. We have seen mighty doors open into Russia and the former Soviet Union. We have seen God make His way into countries like China, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, India, Azerbaijan, Iraq and North Korea, to name but a few.

The hand of the Lord has been upon us and He is still with us.

God has more and we feel the Lord calling us to go back to the roots and foundation of our missionary calling: mission teams and Bible schools!

In recent years we have seen the Lord awaken a new call to mission among our young people in the church. Among others, Bible school students in Uppsala who did not want to quit after the second year of Bible school, but who prayed and asked to continue to go around on teams to preach and serve.

In the spring of 2022, we started a new mission program called Impact, where we sent Bible school graduates on several different trips around the Balkans, Europe and Asia for a year and a half. The Lord has been so good to them and opened up many new doors for further mission and Bible school planting.

Even countries we have never been to before are now open with new church contacts and a longing for teaching and faith.

We know that the next step and the next wave of missions is in the hands of the new generation. They walk under the same anointing and operate in the same spirit and power.

The Lord is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow and we know that what we saw in the former Soviet Union, what we saw in India and what we see around our mission fields, we can see happening again but in new powerful ways and new places.

The next wave has already begun to move and we look forward to what the Lord has in mind and plans for the next forty years!

“My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways my ways, says the LORD. No, as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”

Isaiah 55:8-9
