He began to shape my heart according to His purpose and prepared me for the plans He had for my life. As I surrendered to Him and prayed, “Here I am, Lord, send me,” I experienced a deep sense of peace about the direction He was leading me toward.

After graduating from Bible School, I entered a season of waiting. With a renewed passion for missions, I continually asked God where He wanted me to go and what He wanted me to do. For some time, there seemed to be no clear answer. Gradually, however, God placed a specific burden on my heart—to train, encourage, and prepare those who desire to go into ministry and missions.

During this time, I began volunteering at the Bible School connected to our local church. Through this opportunity, I witnessed God slowly fulfilling His purpose in my life and confirming the calling He had placed on my heart.

After months of prayer and waiting, I was finally given the opportunity to help with the Bible School that Word of Life International was preparing to launch in Manila, Philippines. At last, God had begun to answer my prayers. I realised that this was exactly what He had been preparing me for, and I was ready.

Within my very first week in Manila, God filled my heart with compassion for the people here and allowed me to experience His love for them in a fresh and personal way. It was both real and overwhelming.

Now, after several weeks of serving at the Manila Bible School, I can truly say it has been an incredible journey. I have witnessed the presence of God and the power that comes through obedience to Him. I believe this Bible School represents a breakthrough moment for the missions movement in the Philippines.

We currently have more than 50 students from different provinces across the Philippines, along with students from three other countries. There is a genuine hunger for the Word of God among them. What has especially stood out, however, is not only their passion for Scripture, but also the powerful work of the Holy Spirit moving alongside the teaching of the Word. That has been one of the greatest highlights of this season so far.

I am grateful and blessed to serve through this Bible School ministry. It has been a blessing to spend time with local leaders, build meaningful friendships, pray for people, teach from the Word of God, worship together, and walk alongside students as they encounter God in new and life-changing ways.

Delaney Das,

Outsent Missionary

My name is Delaney Das, and I am from Kolkata, India.
