Many were touched by God’s presence, and I could sense a deep hunger in their hearts. Japan may seem like a hard and closed nation from the outside, but when you meet people face-to-face, you realize how many are quietly searching for peace, meaning, and hope.

At the same time, the spiritual situation in Japan remains one of the most challenging in the world. Only about 0.53% of the population are active Christians. There are around 8,000 churches across the country, yet around 1,000 of them have no pastor. Most churches have fewer than 50 regular attendees, and the average age of believers is over 65. These numbers paint a sobering picture — a reminder that Japan desperately needs a fresh move of God.

And yet, I came home filled with hope. God is not done with Japan. I believe He is preparing something new — a new wave of faith, healing, and revival that will reach young people, families, and communities across the nation. Seeds have been planted, prayers have been prayed for decades, and the ground is ready for harvest.

We are already planning to return with more Bible teaching seminars to strengthen and equip the local church. Our prayer is to see believers encouraged, leaders raised up, and churches renewed.

Japan is not forgotten. Now is the time to pray for Japan!

This month I had the privilege of visiting Japan for the very first time — a nation that has long fascinated me for its beauty and culture, but also burdened my heart because of its great spiritual need.

[32,34

post-3235","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-asia","category-latest
["GET
