This beautiful nation has faced so many challenges in recent years — political unrest, economic collapse, and deep suffering among the people. Many live with uncertainty about the future, yet what moves me most is that, in the middle of all this darkness, there is a new hunger for God. People are hopeless in many ways, but at the same time, they are open — perhaps more open than ever — for the Gospel.

We have just finished several amazing days of ministry together with local believers in Yangon. Thousands gathered for our conference — days filled with preaching, worship, and prayer. We also had a youth conference, where hundreds of young people came, many of them facing pressure and opposition for their faith. Their energy, tears, and passion for Jesus deeply touched me. In a place where being a Christian can still lead to discrimination, rejection, or even persecution, these young believers are standing strong. They are truly the light of Myanmar’s future.

One of the most meaningful moments for me was visiting a Bible school in the countryside. We spent a full day together with the students — teaching, praying, and listening to their stories. They are so hungry to serve God, so eager to reach their nation. Many of them come from villages where there are no churches and where Christians are few. Still, their hearts are full of vision and courage. They reminded me that revival never begins in comfort — it begins in faith, in the middle of difficulty.

I also met pastors who carry heavy burdens for their people. The church in Myanmar is not large, but it is alive. In persecution, faith becomes pure; in suffering, love becomes deep.

As I look around, I believe there is a great future for the work of God here. I can see the first signs of something new — and perhaps soon we will see more Bible schools established in this nation, to train and equip local leaders for the harvest.

Please continue to pray for us, for Myanmar, and for the believers who are shining the light of Christ in one of the hardest places in Asia. Hope is rising in Myanmar.

I have been here with my family for some days, and it has been such a joy to be in Myanmar again.
