When we found out that our team would be sent to Mexico, we didn’t have much to go on – only one contact in the country, but a lot of faith!<\/p>\n\n

We decided to pray a lot before the trip, we were ready and open to be used by God. From our one contact, a whole city of different churches opened up and wanted us to come and serve them. What little we had was blessed and multiplied and God showed His faithfulness throughout the trip. <\/p>\n\n

We were welcomed and cared for by some amazing and loving people from the Palabre de Fe (Word of Faith) church. The Lord provided us with everything we needed – shelter, food and transportation. Resources of all kinds flowed abundantly to us and all our needs were met. <\/p>\n\n

More than 30 people gave their lives to Jesus during a worship night we had, we saw people set free, saved and people set free from anxiety and depression.<\/p>\n\n

We also had the privilege of preaching and leading worship during the Sunday services, where one of us in the team had the opportunity to pray for a woman who had been kidnapped a few years earlier – and who was freed from unclean spirits during the intercession.<\/p>\n\n

Through street evangelism, we shared the Gospel and prayed for the sick, prayed for deliverance and prayed for salvation. More than 20 people received Jesus into their hearts during our trip! <\/p>\n\n

We also got to pray for a disabled man who had been in a car accident a few years earlier – one night we were all in an Uber and just before we were about to get off we started sharing that God loves him. He was noticeably touched and we then got to pray for him and he received Jesus into his heart! <\/p>\n\n

One of the highlights of the trip was our visit to an Anti Human Trafficking Organization: El Pozo de Vida.<\/em> In their shelters we met teenagers who had been rescued from human trafficking. Most of these girls had been sold by their own families and they ranged from 11 to 16 years old. We also had the opportunity to visit a community center and share the Gospel and pray for women in a Red-light district.<\/em> <\/p>\n\n

Following him was truly stepping outside our four church walls. From preaching in churches, we also got to share God’s word with four prostitutes. All of them were so touched by God, they cried and asked us for intercession. We prayed for them and two of them received Jesus. <\/p>\n\n

These two days marked us for life.<\/p>\n\n

Jesus was indeed the focal point of the journey. And he did more than we could ever dream of. <\/p>\n\n
